Shield Petroleum Company Nigeria Limited is a petroleum product marketing company based in Lagos, Nigeria. The company was incorporated in November 1997. Over the last 11 years Shield has specialized in the import, export and supply of various petroleum products namely Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), Bitumen, Fuel Oil and Lubricants. The company is active in Nigeria and along the West African Coast. Shield represents a number of international Oil and Gas companies in Nigeria, among which are Societe Multinationale De Bitumes (SMB) of Cote D’Ivorie (from which it imports bitumen) and in partnership with Engen Petroleum of South Africa. By virtue of these relationships, the company has developed a reputation for professionalism and reliability in the market place and as such is able to compete with the oil majors in the marketing of oil products.

Our Board of Directors comprises Mr. Herbert Osei-Baidoo, Mr. Adamu Usman, Mallam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli (Magajin Garin Zazzau), Mrs. Susan Osei-Baidoo, Mr. Tunde Folawiyo. The management team is made up of Herbert Osei-Baidoo as Chief Executive, Nii Odartey Mills as Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Steve Bello-Giwa as Director of Finance, Mrs Motunrayo Amzat as Head of Administration and Mr. Stanley Emeluaha as Company Secretary. Both Herbert and Nii are seasoned professionals with experience in both upstream and downstream aspects of the oil business. The company has total staff strength of 25 personnel.
